Note: The Virtual Walk-In Advising hours are on a first-come, first-served basis. The advisors will only be able to discuss the next term (No graduation plans or future planning will be generated during walk-ins). You will be in the virtual waiting room until the advisor is ready for the next student. The advisors will send status updates to the waiting room. You should expect longer-than-normal wait times. Please be prepared!
To prepare:
- Review your academic requirements page located within your MyCSUB portal,
- Review your academic worksheet (request a copy at the bottom of the page link),
- Write down any questions you have, and
- Create a schedule or proposed schedule
Make sure all other holds are cleared before you meet with the advisor. For example, the Student Financial Agreement Hold can be lifted by completing your To-Do List item within your MyCSUB portal. Advisors can only lift the Advising hold.
